The ideal candidate will perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of the Microsoft Visual Studio Development environment, ASP.Net and Visual Basic.  Superior skills, with a record of completing the job, on time and on budget, required. References expected.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the company’s goals, its strategy and expected achievements and company constraints.
• Use this understanding in concert with your experience and your knowledge to define a minimum launch-able feature set, in collaboration with lead programmer.
• Under general direction, formulate system scope and objectives.
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
• Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
• Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
• Write and maintain programming documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

Qualifications Include:

• Knowledge of company programming procedures and programming languages.
• Ability to process computer data, format and generate reports.
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
• Knowledge of computer flow charts and programming logic and codes.
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
